Non Return Dampers (NRD)

Pressure relief dampers are designed for use in intake and discharge opening in commercial and residential air-conditioning system.

When the ventilation systems are on, the blade of the pressure relief damper are held in the open position by the air flow. If the system is switched off, the dampers blade close  automatically, thus preventing reverse airflow and giving

protection against the ingress of intemperate air, rain and birds into the air conditioning systems.

Construction:

Designed to be ducted mounted. The frame and blades are made from 18ga. (1.2) mm galvanized sheet round.

spindles 12 mm DIA, and are linked together by means of G. I. linkages. Gasket is provided on blade tips for low leakage.
